What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website stores on the user's device when they visit it. Their function is to remember information about the visit to facilitate the next visit and make the site more useful to the user.
In compliance with article 22.2 of the Spanish Law 34/2002 on Information Society Services (LSSICE) and the Spanish Data Protection Agency's Guidelines on the use of cookies (2024), licitadia.com only sets non-essential cookies after obtaining the user's explicit consent through the cookie banner. The user can accept, reject or withdraw consent at any time with the same ease with which it was given.
Types of cookies used
By purpose, licitadia.com distinguishes between:
- Technical or essential cookies: strictly necessary for the proper functioning of the website and for remembering the user's consent preference. They do not require consent (art. 22.2 LSSICE).
- Third-party analytical cookies: allow measuring and analysing website use for statistical purposes. They require prior consent.
Cookies used by licitadia.com
The following table lists the cookies active on this website:
Analytical cookies are only installed if the user clicks "Accept" in the cookie banner. If the user clicks "Reject", analytics_storage consent remains denied (Google Consent Mode v2) and neither Google Analytics 4 nor Microsoft Clarity install cookies, since Google Tag Manager blocks the firing of both tags.

These tools may involve an international data transfer to the United States; this transfer is covered by the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and by the EU–US Adequacy Decision on the Data Privacy Framework of 10 July 2023.
